The most common cause: the sign-up limit
If visitors see This organization isn't taking new sign-ups through this link right now, your page has reached its limit. An owner or admin sees the count in Settings, under Organization, then Standing. Each shift a person signs up for counts once.
| Your standing | Public sign-ups allowed |
|---|---|
| Nothing checked yet | 25 |
| EIN matched to IRS records | 100 |
| Website confirmed | No limit |
The limit counts every sign-up through your public page, including cancelled ones. Sign-ups your team records, and people joining a waitlist, never count. To raise it, follow your web address and verification.
Other causes to check
| What people see | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Page not found | Your website is a draft. | An owner or admin puts it live in Web. |
| No shifts to sign up for | No upcoming shifts, or the program's Public sign-ups switch is off. | Post a shift, or turn Public sign-ups on in Edit program. |
| Full | The shift is full and has no waitlist. | Raise the number needed, or turn on Waitlist. |
| Sign-ups for that shift have closed | The shift has already started. | Point people to a later shift. |
| A different website | Your Ember page forwards to your own site. | Clear Redirect to your website in Web. |
Signing up many people from one computer
Lots of sign-ups from one computer within a minute, such as at an event table, may not all be saved. The page still says they worked. Space them out, have people use their own phones on mobile data, or record them yourself.
