Is Ember Web a full website builder?
No, and that's the point. It's a simple starter page: your logo, tagline, brand color, a donate button, social links, and your impact. It gets your nonprofit online in minutes, rather than replacing a full custom site.
What is on my Ember Web page?
Your organization's name and logo, a short tagline, your brand color, a donate button, your social links, the counts you choose to publish from your programs, the programs behind them, and one story you choose to make public. Add a contact email and visitors get a Get in touch form, without the address itself ever being shown. You control what appears.
Do I have to keep updating it?
No. Once a program puts one of its counts or goals on your page, from the program in Programs, that program shows up and its numbers stay current as you log the work. You don’t edit the page to keep it fresh.
I already have a website. Can I still use Ember Web?
Yes. You can point Ember Web to your existing site so anyone who lands on your Ember page is sent straight to your real one.
How do people find my page?
It lives at your own Ember address, and you share the link wherever you already are: your social profiles, emails and printed materials. Nothing is public until you choose to publish it.
Can I add a donate button?
Yes. Add your donation link and it shows up as a clear Donate button, so supporters have one obvious place to give. Pair it with Giving to steward the people who do.
