Is it really free?

Yes. Ember is free for nonprofits under about $50K a year, with unlimited users and no credit card. Larger nonprofits pay a simple subscription that scales with their budget, and every tier includes every app.

How do you know our budget?

From your most recent Form 990, which is public. Your tier follows your annual budget. If you grow into a new band, we’ll let you know before anything changes, and never in a hard stretch.

What if we hit a hard month?

No lock-in. You can pause or cancel any time, and we’ll work with you through a rough stretch. We’re in your corner.

Is there a per-seat fee?

Never. One flat rate for your budget band, no matter how many users, volunteers, or donor records you add.

Do we have to be a 501(c)(3)?

No. Ember is for nonprofits and the people starting them: grassroots groups, all-volunteer teams, fiscally sponsored projects, and founders still getting set up.
