Open your welcome email
It was sent the moment you signed up. If it is not in your inbox, look in spam or promotions and search for Ember.
Press the button in the email
A page opens that says Confirm your email.

You see Your email is confirmed. The banner in Ember goes away.
What waits until you confirm
You can set up your organization, turn on apps and do everyday work straight away. These wait, and say Confirm your email first if you try them:
- Inviting teammates, board members or volunteers with an email address
- Putting your website live, publishing a report, or issuing a volunteer's letter
- Paying by card or asking for an invoice
Emails Ember would send to other people for you, such as board packets and shift notices, are skipped until you confirm. They are not sent later.
If the 48 hours run out
Ember shows Confirm your email to keep going. instead of your work. Nothing is deleted. The button in your welcome email works for 30 days after you sign up, and confirming opens everything again straight away. Or press Sign in again, then Email me a sign-in link. Signing in with that link confirms your email too.
