Export your data
Your data is yours. Each app that holds figures you would want in a spreadsheet has its own download button.

Where each export lives

Good to know
- Most exports are for owners and admins. Anyone who can open Impact Reports can download its Performance figures.
- Some buttons only appear once there is something to export.
- Payroll exports cover one timesheet period of approved hours at a time, or any run of dates you choose under Pay by dates.
- The budget export follows the year and the in or out filter you have chosen, but includes every program.
- The printable report opens your browser's print window. Choose Save as PDF there to keep a copy.
Common questions
Can I export everything at once?
Yes. Owners and admins can go to Settings, Organization, Your data and choose Download everything. You get a zip file with one spreadsheet for each kind of record.
Can I export our volunteer list?
Volunteers has no download button of its own, but owners and admins get the whole roster in Download everything (Settings, Organization). Approved volunteer hours download from Impact Reports, and website subscribers from Web.
We are leaving Ember. How do we take our data?
Use the exports above before you archive. Write to hello@donewithember.org if you need something they do not cover.
