Before you start
Only the owner can archive. Export anything you want to keep first: once it is archived, nobody can open it.
Archive it
Open settings
On a computer, press the + tile at the bottom of your apps in the sidebar, then choose Organization.
Scroll to Danger zone
It is at the bottom, and only the owner sees it.
Press Archive this organization

Type the name, then press Archive it
You go back to Home, and the organization is gone from everyone's list.
What happens
- Everyone loses access at once, including you.
- Your public page stops loading straight away, and links to it break.
- Nothing is erased for 30 days. After 30 days it is deleted for good, and that cannot be undone.
- No one is emailed about it, so tell your team yourself.
- Billing does not change. If you pay by card, write to hello@donewithember.org to stop it.
Restore it
You cannot restore an archived organization yourself. Within 30 days, write to hello@donewithember.org and a person can put it back.
